With all the talks of heading to Real Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona or Juventus, the Frenchman's long line of suitors may well have wasted their efforts in luring him away from Munich as the club is set to secure his further services. In a speech by Christian Nerlinger reported in L'Equipe, the general manager of Bayern said: "We are in close contact with Franck and we have the impression that he values the situation he is in with Bayern and we can see good chances of being able to extend his contract." The French midfielder, who is suspended for the Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, is tied to Bayern until 2011. However, with doubts over his future at the German giants, a growing list of clubs which includes Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Juventus is waiting to pounce for his signature. But in what may be bad news to his suitors, Bayern has offered him a deal more outstanding than Real Madrid, according to sources in France and Germany.
